Management Information System (MIS)
The Planitas MIS is a new generation software suite which uses leading edge technology to extract PNR data – booking, ticketing and departure control – from any Host systems in real time and store it in a centralized relational database. This database is a real time mirror of the Host system and also includes all historical booking data provided to Planitas by the Host. The MIS provides secure access to this data through a suite of powerful web-enabled applications.

The Planitas MIS allows decisions affecting the business to be based on the most up-to-date information, bringing benefits right across an organization – customer service interfacing, commercial, revenue & finance and planning departments. Internet Booking Engine (IBE)
The Planitas IBE is extremely fast, robust and scalable and enables efficient online booking of an airline’s inventory and can be integrated with any host system such as SABRE or GABRIEL.

Planitas uses a relational database which contains the airlines schedule, inventory and fares data and this both minimises communications with the reservation host system and dramatically increases the speed of the IBE and significantly reduces costs.

The airline uses a simple Graphical User Interface (GUI) to maintain the fares it chooses to sell on the internet and these fares can be made available to the market in a very short time.  The airline can choose to offer any flights with its own IATA designator provided that it holds inventory in the host.

It has a unique “look to book ratio” of 0:1. The Planitas booking engine needs to interface with the host only once to create a PNR which further reduces host High Speed Messages.

The Planitas IBE currently interfaces with both BIBIT and Realex credit card processing centres but other providers can be supported. Ticketing options include e-ticketing, ticket-on-departure or the Planitas ‘super e-ticket solution’.

Frequent Flyer Programme (FFP)
The FFP is fully web-enabled and is integrated in to the Planitas IBE. The FFP includes the following modules:

• Online registration process
• Online administration process
• Automatic awarding of points
• Online redemption of points

Airline Security Solutions
This software is designed for use by airline security executives and agencies requiring intelligence on scheduled airline passengers. In order to comply with data protection and legislation it is necessary for Planitas to qualify each potential user of this application.

The Planitas Airline Security System extracts data from PNRs to provide comprehensive information - both historical and future – that can be used to monitor and analyse the travel pattern of individual passengers.

The system is accessed through a secure web interface and allows authorised users to create reports and ‘alerts’ on who has travelled and is booked to travel, when, where, how and with whom.
